Finnish prog-metal act Everwave takes you on a voyage across eccentric rhythms, electro-infused atmospheres and soothing melodies. This Tampere-based
six-member unit combines their nordic metal heritage with low-tuned metal grooves, incorporating elements from a wide range of musical eras and genres.
The band has established itself on live stages through relentless effort, performing across Finland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
Debut album
So Called Home was released in 2019, carving out its place and showcasing its unique character within the Finnish metalcore scene. The album
leaned on an airy nordic metal aesthetic, highlighting the band's greatest strengths - catchy melodies and captivating atmosphere. The release was an
important step in the band's career and gave momentum to the changes ahead.
In the end of 2023 their second full-length
Another Lifetime saw daylight. With this output the band showcases a new musical direction, taking
familiar elements towards a more progressive horizon. The vigorous release was well-received by both longtime fans and new listeners, as well as by the
press.
In 2024, the band surprised their audience by releasing a cover of the evergreen tune
Punainen komentaja by the legendary Finnish rock band CMX.
Currently Everwave follows their revised musical beacon and continues to perform live and create new music while constantly exposing themselves to fresh
inspiration.
